It was a truly special day to be a part of, with the wedding ceremony taking place at the House of Lords followed by the reception at Chiswick House and Gardens where I am a thrilled to be a recommended supplier.
THE CEREMONY AT THE HOUSE OF LORDS
200 of Madison and Reid’s family and friends gathered at the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft, at the Palace of Westminster. The chapel had previously existed as a crypt below the more well known St Stephen’s Chapel, used by the Royal Family. It has had many uses throughout it’s existence, at one point being used as a wine cellar and also as stables to house Oliver Cromwell’s horses. Today it exists as a beautiful Church of England chapel, with intricate detailing and architecture.
LONDON WEDDING VENUE CHISWICK HOUSE AND GARDENS
After the ceremony, guest were transported in vintage route masters to Chiswick House and Gardens for the reception. Chiswick House and Gardens is one of the best wedding venues in the UK. It is an exceptionally beautiful Georgian Villa set in stunning Italian Gardens in London. As a recommended Wedding Planner at Chiswick House and Gardens, I work with couples from the US planning a wedding in London, where Madison and Reid were both based for much of their wedding planning, as well as those based a little closer to home in the UK.
THE RECEPTION
Starting in the Conservatory, guests enjoyed delicious canapes and champagne before moving through to the Burlington Pavilion. There were an absolutely fantastic team of London wedding suppliers involved in the wedding, including The Food Show who cooked up the most delicious of food, London Wedding florist Mary Jane Vaughan and her team produced the most gorgeous wedding flowers and Cotswold Wedding photographer David Jenkins who captured the entire day so beautifully. As a Wedding Planner in London, it was a delight to work with such a fabulously talented team.

My husband and I got married in June 2019 in London and had originally wanted to plan everything ourselves with the help of our family and friends. A few months in we realized that there was way too much to do and needed to hire a wedding planner.
