Matt and Alessandra’s Wilderness Reserve wedding weekend began with a relaxed and elegant rehearsal dinner in the Walled Garden, welcoming guests who had travelled from as far as Canada and Australia.
Planned closely with their families, the couple had already secured many of the key elements, and the focus was on bringing everything together seamlessly. Beneath a stretch tent surrounded by hydrangeas and candlelight, the evening captured the essence of an English country garden celebration — thoughtful details, a joyful atmosphere and time for guests to truly connect.
The couple invited a band they had discovered while skiing in Val d’Isère, filling the night with music, laughter and dancing. Dinner was intentionally simple and personal, featuring two favourites: bangers and mash followed by Eton mess. It was the perfect beginning to their three-day Wilderness Reserve wedding weekend — warm, welcoming and filled with personality. A truly memorable start to a celebration that unfolded with love, ease and beautiful attention to detail across the days that followed.
